Recipe Notes
To get the best flavor out of this recipe, we have the following suggestions:
- Do not make this punch ahead of time. It is best served the same day you make it, due to the carbonation of the ginger ale.
- Feel free to add ice, but ice will water down the drink as it melts. We prefer to make sure the ginger ale, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice are all chilled down before we prepare it.
- If you are not a fan of ginger ale, lemon-lime soda works well as a modification.

Frequently Asked Questions
I personally prefer using fresh cranberries over frozen. It adds a fresh taste to the punch. However, if frozen cranberries are your only option, they will work and will still taste great. If you are looking to switch the cranberries out, I recommend adding pomegranate instead.
If you are looking to replace it, I recommend using Sprite, Mountain Dew, Fresca (flavored Fresca would also be fine), sparkling water, Cranberry Sprite, or Cherry 7-Up.
We would recommend serving it within 6 hours of making it. If you are looking to save time, I recommend cutting the fruits ahead of time so you can throw it all together right before serving. Don’t add ice until right before serving it.

Absolutely delicious! Not a punch fan but it was a combination of tart and sweet and everyone loved it.
How much do I need for 300 guests??? For an church holiday event.
This recipes is for about 25 servings. So for 300 people you would need to make it 12 times.
Is there an order in which you add the juices to mix it? Just curious.
Can you add alcohol to it? If so what would you recommend??
We have only made this recipe as directed on the instructions. We don’t drink alcohol, so we aren’t much help here.
We usually add the ingredients in the order listed in the recipe.
Can you use cranberry cocktail or do you need the actual juice?
Do I need to use 100% cranberry juice? Or will a cranberry juice blend work?
You can use a juice blend. It will alter the taste to be more like whatever juice blend you use. It’s all good.
You can use whatever cranberry juice you want, but the taste will be altered depending on the juice you use.
Sounds delicious! Being from the south I feel that no baby shower/bridal shower etc is complete without punch! One tip on keeping this cold without adding ice that will water it down would be to freeze some of the punch and fruit in a Bundt pan. Dip the pan in a little hot water and it will come out easier. Voila! Cold punch that’s not watered down!
I left out the obvious step of adding this frozen punch ring to your punch. 😄 Also, adding the soda right before serving will keep your fizz from dying before you can serve it.
Thank you Alisha for the punch tip!!! Great idea! No more watered down punch. Yeah!!
I saw you make this in Instagram and it looked easy enough. I made if for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it!!! Thanks so much!
