Camille, These sandwiches look insanely good! Will have to try them!
Take care,

OH MY! The picture made me want to lick my computer screen (which judging by the dust on my screen would not be a good idea) but then I saw the recipe included BACON…count me in! I think I know what I’m having for Memorial Day now.

Oh man – bacon and cheese w/ bbq – this is my kind of sandwich!
I will be making these for dinner tonight! Thank you so much for such a great recipe!! I am drooling!
Can this be made in the oven & if so what degree & for how long?
I dont have a slow cooker.
Thanks
Oh My…this was awesome. We had these for dinner tonignt and it was 5+ stars. I used chiptole BBQ sauce and I loved the kick. We will be eating leftovers tomorrow for lunch and I will be making this at least once a month. Thank you so much for an outstanding and easy recipe.
Hi Cindy! I have only ever made this in a slow cooker, but I found this article that might help you convert it so that it can be cooked in the oven:

Just made this for our Sunday lunch….amazing! So easy!
hello. i’m making this for dinner tomorrow night but once i reviewed the recipe, a quick question came to mind. you mentioned that you used frozen chicken… did you thaw it before putting it in the crock pot? or just throw it in there and let it thaw/cook all in one. Thanks for the help!
Just throw your frozen chicken in the crock pot! It’s great! -The Six Sisters
I also made this, but yours look light brown and like it went all over. I put it in on high for 4 hours and mine is dark and looks almost burnt? I used Dave’s BBQ like you and everything. Any advice? Cncsant8@gmail.com
Had these for dinner tonight and they were delicious!! Thanks for the recipe! I also linked to your site when I blogged about the recipe. http://pinterest365.com/for-appetite/crockpot-cheesy-bbq-and-bacon-sandwich/
Thanks!
I made these last night and they were fantastic! My husband had thirds! My only advice is use a really good BBQ sauce, we used a plain one and it left a little to be desired sauce wise! I will try this again with a better BBQ sauce!
I just found this, and can’t wait to try it. From what I read it can’t be any less than fabulous. Just one question. You don’t mention the top half of the onion rolls in the prep. Do you just toast the bottoms and all the toppings, and leave the tops of the buns untoasted? I think I would like the tops toasted just a little, but a tried recipe must by tried correctly. Is it better with untoasted tops? Or should I just experiment…of course I should. Sorry to have bothered you. How do I delete this? ..is this the right button?????
Just toast them both side by side. The one half will have all the topping on it though. Hope this helps!
Has anyone added onion to the crock pot when making this? I usually make BBQ pork and always add onion, so I am having difficulty picturing the chicken without it. Thoughts?
Hi there, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar one and i was just curious if you get
a lot of spam feedback? If so how do you stop it, any plugin or anything you can recommend?
I get so much lately it’s driving me crazy so any help is very much appreciated.
my page – ??? ?? ??? ??
I used onion in mine today and it was great. I also mixed up some of my own ingredients for BBQ sauce instead of just using a bottle. Didn’t have bacon so we omitted that, but I can see how it would be awesome.
If I don’t use thawed instead of frozen chicken breast, would I still cook it for the same amount of time? 6-7 on high or 3-4 on low?
Yes, 6-7 on low or 3-4 on high.
Where is the rest of the recipe? I only see an equipment list and ingredient list, no instructions. I could try to wing it, but I’d rather not.
Hi Ella. Thanks for catching that. We have updated the recipe instructions.
