Sheet Pan Chicken Sausage and Vegetables Recipe

I love a good sheet pan dish because that means dishes are going to be a breeze. If you are anything like me, dishes after preparing and eating a delicious dinner are not very much fun. This Sheet Pan Chicken Sausage and Vegetables could not be easier to make and clean up. It's also a crowd favorite.

After having my fourth baby, I’ve been trying to eat healthier and get back in shape.

I hate making myself a separate dinner than my family because my kids don’t love some of the healthy food I make.

This recipe was a winner at our house because my whole family ate it and I only dirtied one pan while making it.

I also love that this recipe is a main dish and side dish in one. It doesn’t get much better than that! If you are looking for easy healthy recipes your whole family will eat, check out our healthy menu plan.

what could i replace the chicken sausage with

If you aren’t a fan of chicken sausage, you could also use a pork or beef sausage. They would work just as well.

We prefer the chicken sausage because they are cooked and ready to be eaten, without any preparation, or baking required.

However, if you aren’t a fan of sausage in general, you could use a grilled chicken, ground turkey, ground beef, steak slices, ham cubes, or any of your favorite meats.

However, you will want to be sure that the meat is cooked before adding it to the recipe. With this particular recipe, the chicken sausage comes cooked, so it doesn’t require any extra baking or cooking.

You will have to prepare the meat on your own depending on what you choose.

where do i find chicken sausage at the store

The chicken sausage that we use, comes packaged, similar to how hot dogs are packaged. They are sealed up tight, but are still visible through the clear packing. They are also a little bigger than hot dogs.

Since they are wrapped similar to hot dogs, they are also placed near the hot dogs at the grocery store. This is usually by the sandwich meat areas. They will usually be right next to the hot dogs.

You can also ask a store employee for help, if you are having difficulty finding them. They are usually just in the refrigerated and packaged meat section, not the freezer aisle.
