Whenever I need to take a salad to a potluck or party, this Italian Fresh Green Salad is my go-to.
It’s easy to throw together and is loaded with flavor.
Top with your favorite salad dressing and you are good to go!
Ingredients needed for this Italian Fresh Green Salad:
- 6 cups romaine lettuce (torn into small pieces)
- 4 cups baby spinach
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes
- 14 ounces artichoke hearts 1 can, (rinsed, drained and cut into bite-size pieces)
- 1 green bell pepper thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
- ¾ cup red onion thinly sliced
- 1 cucumber sliced
- 4 ounces sliced olives 1 can, drained
- ½ cup sliced banana peppers
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces Italian dressing or your favorite, 1 bottle
How to make this delicious Italian Fresh Green Salad:
- In a large bowl, combine all salad ingredients listed above.
- Top with your favorite Italian or Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing.

question? I am planning to make your Italian Fresh Green Salad, are the banana peppers spicy? If so, would the not-spicy ones work or is there a substitute for them?

The banana peppers we use are not spicy. They add a lot of flavor to your salad.
This is a beautiful salad and a crowd pleaser!
Banana peppers are pretty sour, not at all spicy.
