- Once it is all mixed together, spread it over top of the ham, making sure everything gets covered.
- Now, turn the slow cooker on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 3 hours and let it do its thing.

Recipe Notes
For this recipe, we used pre-cooked ham slices. For more reference as to how to cook a larger ham in a slow cooker, check out our Slow Cooker Honey Baked Ham recipe or our Instant Pot Honey Glazed Ham!
Freezer Meal Modification
In a gallon-sized freezer meal bag, add all ingredients. Squeeze out as much air as possible and seal bag closed. Place freezer bag into freezer and it will last 60-90 days. When ready to use, spray inside of slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Dump ingredients from bag into slow cooker and add 1/4 cup of chicken broth or water in with the frozen food. Place the lid on top. Cover and cook on LOW heat for 5.5-6.5 hours (or HIGH heat for 3-4 hours).

- In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, pineapple (with juice), and mustard.

That sounds wonderful!
how much water do I use in Instant pot in Pineapple glazed ham
Since the ham is cooked already, all we need to do is to heat it up, just like you would do in the oven. The Instant Pot makes it easier and faster! Add water to Instant Pot insert, place trivet inside. Set the ham, cut side down, on the trivet.
If I don’t have Dijon mustard, what can I use as a substitute?

My hubby came home from the store this afternoon – he said that I’d like this for dinner tonight as he hands me a thick cut bone-in Ham Steak.. . On top of that – he said that he wanted me to cook it with pineapples.!! . Mind you – we have ALWAYS grilled our Ham Steaks & now its 3p.m. & kinda late to pull out my Crock-Pot.. . I’m thinking to myself – thank goodness I just came across (your) recipe – cause I have never used pineapple – brown sugar – Dijon mustard before & this IS happening right now.!! . 🙂 .
Instead of using my Crock-Pot – I pulled out my baking sheet-pan with sides & an Oven Cooking Bag..
I followed your recipe ingredients to a “T” & using an Oven Cooking Bag & it was total perfection.!! . 🙂
325° for: 1 1/2 hours & the flavor of the meat was delicious & it literally melted right in our mouths.!!
This recipe IS definitely a keeper in our home.!!
Yummm.!! . Thanks for sharing this with us.!!
Mel.. . 🙂
Mel, you just made our WHOLE week! We are so glad that the ham turned out amazing. So happy for you and your hubby! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a comment. Have a very Merry Christmas!
