- in a soup bowl with crumbled tortilla chips on top.

How to make slow cooker salsa chicken
Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken is made with ingredients that you may have on hand. We had a lot of these canned goods already in our pantry.
- Spray your slow cooker with non stick cooking spray. We used a 7 quart slow cooker. A 6 quart or an 8 quart slow cooker will work too.
- Place your chicken breasts over the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Pour the salsa over the top of all the chicken.
- Then add both cans of beans, and the corn. Mix them together over the chicken. (I have it separated just for the picture)
- In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, fiesta nacho cheese soup, and taco seasoning mix. Stir until mixed together well. Spoon it over all of the beans and corn.
- Place lid on slow cooker and cook for 4-6 hours on low setting.
- After the salsa chicken is done cooking, remove chicken from slow cooker and shred or dice.
- Then add back to the mixture and stir in well.
- Serve over tortilla chips, rice, in a tortilla shell.
- Top with cheese.

Slow Cooker Creamy Bean and Salsa Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, frozen or thawed work great
- 16 ounces mild salsa
- 15 ounces black beans, rinsed and drained
- 15 ounces Great Northern beans, rinsed and drained
- 11 ounces Mexicorn, drained
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 11 ounces Fiesta Nacho Cheese Soup
- 1.25 ounces taco seasoning mix
- 16 ounces tortilla chips, optional
- 1½ cups shredded Mexican cheese blend

Instructions
- Spray slow cooker with non stick cooking spray.
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Pour salsa over the chicken.
- Then top with the beans and corn.
- In a medium sized mixing bowl combine the cream cheese, nacho soup, and taco seasoning mix. Stir really well and spoon over the bean and corn mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours.
- Remove chicken from the slow cooker when done cooking and shred or dice.
- Then place back into the slow cooker and stir in well.
- Serve over tortilla chips, rice, or flour tortillas.
- Top with shredded cheese.

Do you think it would work to just put all ingredients in freezer Ziploc and save for later? Does the layering order in the Crock-Pot really affect much?
The layering order is fine if you switch it around. You could freeze this and add it in later. But the prep for this dish is super quick and easy without freezing anything ahead of time.
cooking on low for 4 hours with frozen chicken did not cook it. It was still raw. I think the recipe may be wrong when starting with frozen chicken tenders
Sorry about that. We changed the cook time. You can cook on high for 2-4 hours. But low should be 4-6 hours.
Does this freeze well after it is cooked? Cooking for 2 and like to freeze things for later.
