My kids love ham, but I struggle thinking of different ways to prepare it.
I love the ham and pineapple combination, so I decided to throw it in the crock pot and see what happens.
The ham+pineapple+brown sugar makes the most amazing flavor.

Thank you for the nice recipe. Have a Great Weekend!
I think I’ve found what we are eating Conference Weekend. I’ll make this and everyone else can bring a side to go with it.
This would totally be perfect for conference weekend!! What a great idea!
This looks so yummy! My household is down to my daughter and I do you think I could make up the sandwiches, wrap separately and freeze?
Hi Pam, these are one of our favorite sandwiches! We have never frozen them. I’m not sure how well the pineapple would freeze. But everything else should be fine. You may just have to give it a try and see how it all turns out! Best of luck and keep us posted!! 🙂
My mom made these for us after I had my 2nd baby. We froze it since she brought us 6 meals at once and then just warmed it up in the crock pot, put on buns, and topped with cheese and a little bbq sauce. So good! And it froze well, except we only had it frozen for about a week and a half.
These sandwiches were great! There were lots of leftovers so I got creative and made pizza out of them. I spread pizza sauce over crust, then the leftover ham and pineapple, and covered it in the swiss cheese slices. It was AMAZING! It might even be my new favorite pizza recipe.
This looks amazing! I think hubby would love this! Could we possibly replace ham with diced chicken instead?
Hi Raegan. It should work just fine with diced chicken. Sounds delicious!
What other cheese would be good?
Any kind of cheese that you like would taste great with these sandwiches.
