I love trying new roast beef recipes in my slow cooker and this one is my new favorite! The Coca-Cola barbecue sauce is seriously amazing and creates a nice glaze on the outside of the roast.

Slow Cooker Coca Cola Roast Beef Recipe

- 3 pounds beef rump roast
- ½ cup Coca Cola
- ½ cup brown sugar

- 1 Tablespoon liquid smoke
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- dash red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Spray slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place roast in slow cooker.
- Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over roast in the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 8-9 hours or high for 5 hours.
- When finished, slice roast and pour extra sauce on top.
Notes
How to turn this into a freezer meal:
In a gallon-sized freezer meal bag, add all ingredients. Squeeze out as much air as possible and seal bag closed. Place freezer bag into freezer and it will last 60-90 days. When ready to use, spray inside of slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray and dump ingredients from bag into slow cooker. Place the lid on top and cook for 9-10 hours on low heat (you can cook it for 5-6 hours on high heat, but it will not be as tender as cooking it low and slow. We highly recommend low and slow!).
