 These cookies are my favorite to make. They are impossible to mess up and they are a crowd favorite all year long!

  • 1 (15.25 ounce) box spice cake mix
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix all ingredients together, roll into small balls and place on a cookie sheet.
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes.

    • Hi Sheila. I tried to do some research on the internet before answering this question. From what I read and from looking at gluten free recipes, it looks like this recipe will work with a gluten free cake mix. You may need to add a minute or two for cooking time. Just watch them closely after 10 minutes. Let us know how it all turns out.
  2. I’ve made these twice. They are so delicious but I’m not happy with the looks of them. I can’t roll them into balls like the recipe states because my batter is like wet glue & sticks all over my fingers. So I use a teaspoon & spatula to drop them but then have all little points sticking out of each cookie. I don’t know why this is happening! Help!
