The best part is this easy dessert dip is safe to eat because it does not contain raw flour or raw eggs.
Ingredients needed to make Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip:
- Butter
- Light Brown Sugar
- Vanilla Extract
- Cream Cheese
- Confectioners Sugar (Powdered Sugar)
- Semi Sweet or Milk Chocolate Chips
How to make Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip:
- In a medium saucepan melt the butter and brown sugar. Whisk together over medium-high heat until sugar has dissolved, about 4 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla extract. Set aside and let cool, if you’re in a hurry stick in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
- In the meantime cream together the room temperature cream cheese and confectioners sugar for 1-2 minutes with a hand mixer or stand mixer.
- Slowly pour in the butter/sugar mixture. Beat on medium-high until the mixture is combined and not separated. It may take up to 5 minutes.
- Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
- Serve with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, strawberries, animal crackers, or anything else that sounds good.
Tips for storing this easy Cookie Dough Dip Recipe:
This recipe is simple and delicious, but we do recommend eating with within 3-4 days of making. Store leftover dip in an airtight container in the fridge until you’re ready to eat it.

Why on earth would you feel the need to post this? I’ve tried that exact recipe, found it (as did my guests) nooottt good, but didn’t feel the need to direct Katie’s readers elsewhere.
