Slow Cooker Lasagna Soup

I am usually not a huge soup fan, because I always feel hungry after I eat, however, this Slow Cooker Lasagna Soup is so yummy and full of flavor. If you need a quick recipe or dinner idea, I highly recommend this Slow Cooker Lasagna Soup. it's simple, filling, and delicious.

This Slow Cooker Lasagna Soup is the ultimate comfort food.  Not only is it easy to make, but even picky eaters love it.
My husband and I aren’t usually big soup eaters, mostly because it’s not as filling as we’d like. I love dinner, and we like feeling full afterwards.
However, this simple Slow Cooker Lasagna Soup is quick, delicious, filling, and a family favorite every time. My picky eaters gobbled this one right up, so I just have to share it with you all.
We even make this soup recipe in the summer, because it’s made in the slow cooker, which doesn’t heat up my home as much as an oven or stove top.
If you are in a dinner rut, this is the perfect recipe to help you out of it.

what could i replace the Italian sausage with?

I personally love Italian sausage, but I get it isn’t for everyone. If you are looking to replace it, here is what I recommend:

  • Chicken Sausage
  • Ground Beef
  • Ground Turkey
  • Shredded or Grilled Chicken

what could i pair this recipe with?

I love pasta and soup, but combine it, and I am in heaven. If I could live anywhere in the world, it would probably be Italy, so I could eat homemade pasta day in and day out, for the rest of my life.

Not only that, but they have some amazing bread and sweets there as well.

Here are a few of my favorite bread side dishes to pair with this pasta dish:

We also love to serve our bread and pasta or soup with salad. Here are a few of our favorite salad recipes:

You could really pair it with any vegetable, but a nice fresh crisp salad with some Italian dressing has got to be my favorite combination with this pasta.

I also like to dip my bread in both the pasta sauce and the salad dressing. You can’t go wrong with salad, pasta, and bread.

Am I correct ...I believe I had found a Lasagne Soup recipe here on SixSisters that called for kalbasa sausage? AND placing the bowl sprinkled with mozzarella cheese under the broiler? I'm pretty sure I found it on here last summer???
    • Hi Dorothy! We have a couple lasagna soup recipes. I went through them and cannot find one that has kalbasa sausage. Our sister site: has quite a few lasagna soup recipes. Just go to and type in Lasagna soup in the search bar.

I feel like this is a different version than what you had before for crock pot lasagna soup. Ive made your crock pot lasagna soup several times in the past but recently I tried looking up the recipe and when I got to this, it looks different than I remember. I dont remember it calling for sausage. Is there a different recipe? And older one perhaps? I have it pinned on pinterest, with an older picture but when I open it, it takes me to this and I swear its not the same.
