Ingredients used to make Slow Cooker Deep Dish Pizza:
- Prepared pizza dough; fresh pizza dough (You can find this in the prepared foods section. Whole Foods has a great version)
- Cornmeal
- Shredded mozzarella
- Prepared marinara (or pizza sauce or a homemade tomato sauce)
- Thinly sliced pepperoni
- Sliced black olives
- Sliced mushrooms
- Green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- Shredded parmesan
- Italian seasoning (optional)
How to make Slow Cooker Deep Dish Pizza:
- Grease the basin of the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray or olive oil.
- Press the pizza dough into the bottom of the slow cooker and about 2 inches up the sides of the slow cooker more or less depending on how you want the thick crust.
- Spread shredded mozzarella cheese over the dough.
- Cover evenly with marinara.
- Distribute the layer of pepperoni, sliced black olives, sliced mushrooms, and sliced bell peppers evenly over the sauce.
- Cover the toppings with shredded parmesan cheese.
- Stretch the dough up the sides as needed to ensure that the filling stays within the dough.
- Place a dish towel over the slow cooker and cover it with the lid.
- Cook on high for 3 hours.

- ¾ cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
- ¾ cup marinara sauce
- ½ cup pepperoni slices (thinly sliced)
- ½ cup sliced olives
- ¾ cup fresh sliced mushrooms
- ½ medium green bell pepper thinly sliced
- ¾ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Grease the basin of the slow cooker with cooking spray.
