This easy Chocolate Pecan Pie is a staple at our house for Thanksgiving and Christmas. This decadent dessert is made with refrigerated pie crust and a few ingredients to make this recipe absolutely foolproof!

I’ve never been much of a pie person. On Thanksgiving, our mom always made brownies or other desserts because none of us girls were very fond of pie.

I don’t know if it’s the crust or that I just love cakes, cookies and brownies more but that all changed at a party a few weeks ago.

Our friends hosted a Thanksgiving party and my friend made the most AMAZING Chocolate Pecan Pie. I reluctantly tried some and before I knew it, I was three pieces in.

Where has Chocolate Pecan Pie been my whole life?!

I went home and made some the next day because it was that good. I don’t know if you should thank me, because you’ll probably be consuming excessive amounts of pie if you make this. It is absolutely irresistible.

How to make Easy Chocolate Pecan Pie:

I like to use a refrigerated pie crust or pre-made pie crust dough for this recipe. If you have a homemade pie crust recipe you prefer, you can definitely use that for this recipe.

This recipe makes one 9-inch pie, so be sure you have enough pie crust for that!

Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F. while you press your pie crust into your pie pan if you are using dough.

All of the Chocolate Pecan Pie ingredients can be mixed in a large mixing bowl at the same time. I told you this recipe was easy!

Using a whisk, I mixed together eggs, sugar, salt, butter, corn syrup, pecans and semisweet chocolate chips. Once everything was well combined, I poured it into the crust.

Place pie in the oven and bake for 50-55 minutes. You want to be sure that the center of the pie is set and the crust is barely golden brown.

The pie will continue to set up as it cools, so if the very center of the pie has a little wiggle to it, you will be fine!

Cut into slices and serve. I like to let mine cool a little bit and then serve it with whipped cream, but that part is totally up to you.
