Chocolate Pecan Pie Recipe

This decadent chocolate pecan pie is made with refrigerated pie crust and a few ingredients to make this recipe absolutely foolproof!

Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
  • 3 eggs
  • cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • cup butter melted
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Mix together eggs, sugar, salt, butter, corn syrup, pecan halves and chocolate chips until well combined.
  • Pour into prepared pie crust.
  • Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until center is set and crust is golden brown. Pie will continue to thicken as it cools.

Notes

I like to use a refrigerated pie crust or pre-made pie crust dough for this recipe.  If you have a homemade pie crust recipe you prefer, you can definitely use that for this recipe.
