Bacon Ranch Spaghetti Squash

How To bake Spaghetti Squash in the Oven:

There are a few different ways to bake spaghetti squash in the oven.  My favorite way is to place 3 cups of water into a 9×13-inch glass baking pan, placing the whole spaghetti squash in the pan and covering it with aluminum foil.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 1 hour, remove from the oven, carefully cut in half, scoop out the seeds and shred with a fork.

You can also cut it in half before baking, but you want to be sure to use a sharp knife.  Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise, and scoop out the seeds. Shred spaghetti sauce with a fork.

How To Cook Spaghetti Squash in the Microwave:

If you are short on time, you can cook your spaghetti squash in the microwave.

Cut your spaghetti squash in half and scoop out the seeds.  Place the squash cut side down in a microwave-safe dish.

Cover with a paper towel and microwave on high for 10-12 minutes or until the outside can be easily punctured with a fork.

Carefully remove from the microwave and shred the inside of the squash with a fork.

Items needed for this recipe:
9×13-inch pan: This is my absolute favorite 9×13-inch pan.  It is so sturdy and it includes a lid for quick and easy leftover storage or travel.
Glass mixing bowl: I use this glass bowl for everything!  It is pretty enough to use as a serving dish too.
Wood spoon: This wooden spoon is a functional as it is beautiful.
