To make our air fryer pork chops, you need the following ingredients:

• Protein: for the best results, use bone-in pork chops that are around 1 inch thick
• Oil: use whatever olive oil you have on hand, avocado oil will work as well
• Seasoning: a combination of paprika, salt, ground black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder to season the bone-in chops

How to Make Air Fryer Pork Chops

1. Season the pork chops: pat dry the pork chops with a dry paper towel. 
2. In a small bowl, combine paprika, onion, and garlic powder. 
3. Bush the pork chops with olive oil, then season with salt and black pepper to taste. Rub the remaining spice all over the pork chops (make sure to get the sides of the pork chops too). 
4. Cook the pork chops: Preheat your air fryer to 400℉.
5. Add the pork chops to the air fryer basket in a single layer (in batches if needed) and cook for 7 minutes. Carefully flip the pork chops and cook for another 5 to 7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145℉ with a meat thermometer. 
6. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Expert Tips

• You can coat pork chops with Parmesan cheese before cooking. Add ½ cup of Parmesan into the bowl with spices and stir to combine. Coat the pork chops with the prepared mixture before air-frying.
• You can use boneless pork chops if you want. Just remember that they have a better chance of overcooking, so reduce the cooking time and temperature.
• Serve pork chops with cooked green beans, mashed potatoes, and /or fresh salad. 

Storing and Reheating Instructions

Freezer: Place the leftover pork chops into an airtight container and store them for up to 5 days in the refrigerator.

Reheat: The best way to reheat would be to put them back in the air fryer at 350℉ for 3-5 minutes or until they are heated through.
