With the holidays in full swing, I wanted to share a fun drink that you can serve at your parties (or even just for yourself if you need a little something to get you through the day).
This Piña Colada Slush drink is perfect for a fun New Year’s Eve party or even just a refreshing drink on a hot summer day.
A drink similar to this used to be served at Taco Bell – they called it a Piña Colada Fruitista. Don’t you hate it when you find a food or drink that you love, only to learn that they no longer carry it?! That is exactly what happened with this delicious drink! So, I had to find a way to make it at home.
How to make your own Piña Colada Slush Drink:
You only need a few ingredients to make this delicious drink!
- Grab a blender. This high-powered blender is my favorite, but even this $20 blender will do!
- Add crushed ice, piña colada mix, and lemon lime soda pop to the blender. If you can’t find piña colada mix, you could just use 3/4 cup pineapple juice and 1/4 cup coconut cream in it’s place.
- Pour into glasses, add a sliced lime and a fun straw, and serve.
Could you add alcohol to this?
This recipe is non-alcoholic, most of our parties involve our kids and none of us drink alcohol, so that is why we didn’t include alcohol in this recipe.
However, feel free to make this an adult beverage by adding the alcohol of your choice.

If you are only making a few servings of this slush, feel free to pour it straight into the serving glasses. If you are looking for glass goblets to serve these in, I love this set.
If you are going to be serving these drinks to kids, I love these plastic goblets – the colors are so fun and perfect for a party!
If you are going to be making a large batch of this slush drink, I would recommend a large punch bowl. You could slice some fresh limes and some pineapple chunks and throw them in the bowl.
