I never cared for asparagus growing up, but now it is one of my favorite vegetables. I love how versatile asparagus is and that it can be grilled, roasted, sautéed, or blanched. Whichever way you cook it, asparagus is a great side dish to just about any dinner.
My favorite way to prepare asparagus is to roast it because it only takes a few minutes of prep and you have perfectly tender asparagus ready in 20 minutes or less.

The panko gave the asparagus a nice crispy texture that we really enjoyed!
This is a family favorite! My mother-in-law just asked me to bring it to Thanksgiving. Do you have any suggestions for how to keep it warm without getting too soggy for serving a crowd?
Prepare the recipe, but don’t stick it in the oven until you get to the place where you will be having dinner. It only needs to cook for 20 minutes.
