These aren’t Disneyland churros, but they are fast, easy, and you can make them at home!
We love these churro bites because they only require a handful of ingredients. If you have a box of cake mix hanging out in your pantry, you probably have everything you need to make this tasty treat.
What do I need to make Instant Pot Churro Bites:
If you don’t have an Instant Pot, we recommend the Instant Pot Lux. It’s one of the cheaper models, but I love mine.
Egg bite molds are a great Instant Pot accessory. They can be used in a variety of ways, although you might find they’re worth buying just for these Churro Bites.
Make sure you purchase the correct size of egg bite molds for your Instant Pot:

How to Make Instant Pot Churro Bites:
First, prepare two silicone egg bite molds with non-stick spray.
Prepare your cake mix according to directions if you haven’t already. Note: you only need half of the cake mix for a single batch of churro bites.
Next, add cinnamon and nutmeg to the prepared cake mix. Stir to combine.
Spoon the cake batter into the egg bite molds until they are 3/4 full. Tap the mold on the counter to settle batter and remove any bubbles. Cover with foil, making sure the edges are sealed.
Insert trivet in the Instant Pot and add 1 cup water. Carefully place the egg molds onto the trivet. Lock the lid in place and turn the knob to sealing.
Press the Manual or Pressure Cook button and set for 12 minutes. When the time is up, let the pressure naturally release for 10 minutes, then quick-release the remaining pressure.
Carefully remove the molds from the pot. Place on a cooling rack and allow to set for 5 minutes before un-molding.
Finally, in a shallow bowl, mix together brown sugar and 1 Tbsp cinnamon. While still warm, roll each cake bite in sugar-cinnamon mix.

Serving Instant Pot churro Bites:
These churros are great when they are hot and fresh. You might consider serving them with different toppings, although you don’t have to. Try drizzling them with:
- chocolate
- caramel
- cream cheese icing
- white chocolate
- peanut butter
