
This is my all time FAVORITE fresh fruit salad. You can even used canned fruits, and it still tastes amazing. Whenever someone asks me for my favorite fresh fruit salad recipe, I always tell them this one. It is so simple, delicious, and comes together in minutes.
It is so easy to throw together and it tastes amazing. It is really the perfect side dish to any meal. I even like to eat it for dessert some nights. It is so sweet and tangy, your family and friends are sure to love it.
The best part is, it only requires a few ingredients. Who knew fruit could taste even better, than it already does? The combination of the honey and lime really makes this salad, what it is.

- Mandarin oranges
- Kiwis
- Red grapes
- Strawberries

How to Make Our Honey Lime Fresh Fruit Salad
- Combine the fruit in a large serving bowl.
- Add the lime zest and poppy seeds, and gently toss.
- Drizzle the honey over the fruit and gently mix until the fruit is evenly coated with the honey. Serve immediately
- This fruit salad is best served right away (or at least within an hour of making).
Kid-Friendly Prep
Kids love making this recipe. My little girl loves when I make this recipe, because she loves to help. I always let my kids cut the grapes. I give them a plastic knife, and let them at it. The grapes are dull enough that a plastic knife easily cuts through them. The strawberries can also be cut with a plastic knife.
We also add bananas into this salad, every once in a while and it is the best flavor combination. My kids always sneak banana slice into their mouths as they cut it. I have found that when my kids help me make the food for dinner, they are more likely to eat it, because they take more ownership in it. I love bringing little hands in the kitchen to help. Also, a great way to get them to talk about life and make lasting memories together.

Honey Lime Fresh Fruit Salad Recipe
Ingredients
- 20 ounces pineapple chunks, 1 can, drained
- 4 ounces mandarin oranges , 1 can. drained
- 3 kiwi, (peeled and sliced into thick half moons)
- 1 cup red grapes, halved
- 1 cup strawberries, quartered
- 1 lime, zest
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
- 2 Tablespoons honey
