Healthy ABC Chocolate Pudding

There are 3 key ingredients in this pudding and they may surprise you . . . Avocado, Banana, and Cocoa (hence the ABC). One of the ladies in my Healthy Challenge group shared this basic recipe and I tweaked it to make it even more delicious!

I topped my pudding with a little bit of whipped cream and a raspberry, but you could also use sprinkles or chocolate shavings . . . or don’t add anything at all! The pudding is delicious with or without topping.

Healthy ABC Chocolate Pudding

  • 1 avocado
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 5 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  1. Peel and pit the avocado.
  2. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until mixed and completely smooth.
  3. Pour pudding into serving bowls and cover. Place in the fridge for at least 1 hour to chill and let flavors meld.
  4. If desired, top with whipped cream and raspberries when serving.
