  • 1/2 cup of skim milk
  • 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips, melted (I used Hershey's)
  • 1 cup of raspberries (I used fresh, but you could use frozen)
  • 1 banana
  • 6 oz of non-fat, plain greek yogurt
  • 10-15 ice cubes (to thicken it up)

  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth. You can top it with additional raspberries or my favorite - fat free whipped topping.

This sounds delicious! If you used a frozen banana it would help thicken it up without using so much ice that could water it down. I always wrap up any over ripe bananas that aren't going to get eaten in saran wrap and keep them in the freezer for smoothies! Melissa

This recipe sounds delicious, but I'm not sure that it qualifies as "skinny." I appreciate that it uses more natural ingredients, but as written the entire recipe has 850 calories, 33 grams of fat (20 grams saturated), and 90 grams of sugar. Might try using just a tablespoon of chocolate chips and adding some cocoa powder to keep the fat and sugar down.
