Lunchtime is always a struggle at our house in the summer. We’ve been trying to eat a little healthier but I can only eat so many salads before I give up and indulge in a whole pan of brownies.
I’ve been on a buffalo sauce kick and decided to find a way to turn one of my favorite flavors into a healthy wrap.
These Skinny Buffalo Chicken Wraps are easy to make ahead for a week of lunches, or heat up for dinner. We love to dip ours in ranch.
They come together in just minutes and taste amazing.
My husband likes to mix his ranch with a little extra buffalo sauce, and dip his wraps in it. To each, their own, I guess.
chicken shortcuts and tricks
This recipe calls for 3 shredded chicken breasts. I love shredded chicken, but I don’t always love preparing it. Here are a few shortcuts and tips, I highly recommend:
-Shred rotisserie chicken: This is always my go to on busy nights, when I am already at the store. I buy a rotisserie chicken, shred it, and make this recipe. Quick, healthy, and delicious.
-Use your Instant Pot: If you have an instant pot, you need to start making your chicken in your instant pot. It is ready in just minutes.
-Canned chicken: This isn’t my number one option, but it is nice for busy nights. I don’t love the smell or taste of it plain, but once you add the sauce, you won’t be able to tell. It is delicious. Also very convenient.

Skinny Buffalo Chicken Wraps Recipe
- ½ cup plain greek yogurt
- ¼ cup Frank's hot sauce
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cooked and cubed
- 4 whole wheat tortillas
- 1 avocado mashed
- 1 stalk celery diced
- 1 tomato diced
- 2 Tablespoons feta cheese crumbled
- 1 cup light ranch dressing optional
- In a bowl, mix together yogurt, hot sauce, and chicken. Toss until chicken is completely coated.
- On a tortilla, spread smashed avocado. Top with chicken, and layer celery, tomato, and feta cheese.
- Drizzle with ranch dressing.
- Roll up and serve. We love to dip ours in ranch.
