What could I pair this recipe with?
I love pasta. If I could live anywhere in the world, it would probably be Italy, so I could eat homemade pasta day in and day out, for the rest of my life.
Not only that, but they have some amazing bread and sweets there as well.
Here are a few of my favorite side dishes to pair with this pasta dish:
We also love to serve our bread and pasta with salad. Here are a few of our favorite salad recipes:
You could really pair it with any vegetable, but a nice fresh crisp salad with some Italian dressing has got to be my favorite combination with this pasta.
I also like to dip my bread in both the pasta sauce and the salad dressing. You can’t go wrong with salad, pasta, and bread.
Any Alfredo sauce will do:
This recipe calls for Alfredo sauce, and depending on which Alfredo sauce you use, it could be more or less healthy.
If you are looking to save a few calories, we recommend using half the amount of Alfredo sauce, and adding about 1 1/2 cups of plain Greek yogurt.

Was at a loss what to make for dinner tonight. Went to taeget and grabbed these items.
It was yummy! My 3 yr old loved it too. Next time I will figure out how to lower the fat though. 🙂
I am making this tonight with leftover baked chicken legs (skinned and boned) with leftover New Years Ham and added a can of peas to pot. Mixed approx a tablespoon of spicy mustard and fresh cracked black pepper to sauce before I mixed it in for a one pot meal!
Hi, I have been following your blog for a bit and came across this recipe… I just had to try it, with the exception of the breaded Chicken, I use what I had on hand, those Perdue Brand chicken carvers, ready cooked… We LOVED it!! This is saved in my Recipe files… and I too added Peas towards the end… Oh and I have made it more than a couple of times… Tweaking it a bit… by doubling it and adding some shredded mozzarella cheese on top… OMG it was so good, there were NO leftovers!! It was so cheesy and so Delish, everyone had seconds… LOL. Thanks So Much for sharing and am looking forward to more of your recipes!! Keep them coming!!
This dish is really a no fuss no muss recipe, but don’t let that fool you, because this dish is also really delicious! I love recipes like this, that take convenience and turn it into something fancy shmancy tasting. Especially when you’re dog tired and the last thing you want to do is fix dinner. I served this with a nice crisp tossed salad for one heck of an easy meal. Family approved!
