Add a patriotic touch to your holiday festivities with this no-bake fruit pizza. It’s got a soft, chewy crust, not a sugar cookie base. This means it’s a much easier way to make a fruit pizza – no turning on the oven in the summer heat!
Whether you’re celebrating Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Pioneer Day (for our Utah friends), or Labor Day, this red, white, and blue dessert is sure to be a hit. The best part is, it comes together in just about 20 minutes! Then you can keep it chilled until you’re ready to party.
Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- The simple crust. It’s not a sugar cookie, but it is sweet and delicious.
- It’s a no-bake fruit pizza. Unlike other fruit pizzas, this requires no oven, making it perfect for hot summer days.
- It’s a fun red, white, and blue dessert with no dyes – just berries!
Ingredient Notes and Substitutions:
- Graham Cracker Crumbs. You need 2 ½ cups. Make the crumbs yourself using a food processor, or buy them pre-made. Make sure they are fine for a smoother crust.
- Sweetened Condensed Milk. This makes the crust super sweet and helps keep the crust together.
- Cream Cheese. Eight ounces are needed. We like to use the Philadelphia brand. If it is at room temperature, it will mix and spread so much easier.
- Plain Greek yogurt. You only need a half a cup in this recipe. If you like non-fat, or low-fat, you can swap it for your preferred kind.
- Powdered sugar. This sweetens up the cream cheese mixture and thickens it up slightly. You can add slightly less if desired (up to ¼ cup less). Just note that it will change the consistency if you adjust the amount.
- Berries. To make this patriotic, we use a mixture of blueberries and strawberries. You can top the fruit pizza with whatever fruit you’d like. We recommend leaving the berries or fruit off until right before serving, so the juices don’t seep into the cream cheese mixture.
- Coconut. This is a completely optional topping. We love the taste and look of a little shredded coconut (or even toasted coconut!) on top.
Equipment Needed
For this recipe, you only need a few simple kitchen tools. We recommend using the following equipment:

How to Make This Patriotic Fruit Pizza
- Make the crust by combining graham crackers, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla.
- Use your fingers to press the dough into the pan. Spraying the pan (and your fingers) before you do so will keep it from sticking.
- Make the frosting by combining cream cheese, greek yogurt, and powdered sugar until smooth. Make sure your cream cheese is room temperature when you make it for a smoother consistency and easier spreading.
- Top the mixture with the cream cheese frosting. For the best results, dollop the frosting all over the crust (to make it easier to spread).
- Decorate the pizza with strawberries and blueberries. We like the pattern shown in the photos. Sprinkle with coconut to finish (if desired).

When to serve this Patriotic Fruit Pizza
This fruit pizza is great year-round, and you can change out the fruit to reflect different occasions. However, if you want to enjoy this no-bake dessert during patriotic celebrations, it’s perfect for these summer holidays:
- Memorial Day Weekend (the last Monday in May)
- Independence Day (July 4th, it’s great for celebrating the semiquincentennial!)
- Pioneer Day (July 24th, a Utah state holiday)
- Labor Day Weekend (the first Monday in September)
Storing
Chill the finished pizza in the fridge before serving (without berries) for up to 24 hours. Store any leftover fruit pizza in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days. Please note that the cream cheese frosting may start to get a little watery the longer it sits, and may make the crust a little soggier each day it sits in the fridge.
Frequently Asked Questions
We would not recommend making this the night before. If you do, we would recommend making the crust only, and refrigerating it until you’re ready to top it off with cream cheese and berries and then serve it.
If your crust is falling apart, you may want to try a finer crumb of graham crackers and make sure the sweetened condensed milk is completely incorporated. You can also pop the crust into the fridge after you assemble it to help it set up before you spread the frosting on top.
Yes, absolutely! Swap out your favorite kind of greek yogurt. Please note, it may change the texture and taste slightly.
We like to sprinkle the top with coconut as a finishing touch. However, you could also mix it into the cream cheese frosting.

Wondering how far ahead I can make this. Going to a potluck tomorrow after church, and have all of the components ready. Will it be ok overnight? Better to make it before church or right before eating?
What did I do wrong? I mixed the graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk and the vanilla. Pressed it in a pan and packed it. The crust completely fell apart when I attempted to put the filling on.
Not to worry because I just served it with a spoon. But did I do something Wrong?
We add the filling in small dallops all over the crust and gently pushed it around so it wouldn’t fall apart.
To make this healthier, while not sacrificing taste, could you use non-fat Greek yogurt? And also omit the powdered sugar? Would you need something else in place of the sugar or would it be fine to just omit since you have the sweetness in crust and fruit,…or would it be too tart w/o a replacement? Looking for your thoughts…
We have only made this as directed on the recipe.
What do you do with the coconut?
We like to sprinkle the coconut over the top of the pizza at the very end.
Can I use full fat sour crème? I don’t have any yogurt
You can use sour cream. Sour cream is a bit tangier and richer than Greek yogurt and the texture will be slightly different
