Chocolate Mint No Bake Cookies

A few weeks ago I was able to go to Orrville, Ohio. What is in Orrville you ask? SMUCKER’S!

When I first went to Smucker’s I wasn’t sure what to expect…. I knew they made jam, and ice cream toppings. I must say that they completely took me by surprise. Smucker’s has so much going on that it hurts my head just thinking about it!  Smucker’s owns Jif, Pillsbury (the shelf products), Crisco, Adams Peanut Butter, Folgers, and many many more food companies. But that wasn’t the thing that surprised me. It was their amazing employees. All of them were so kind, happy, and friendly. I felt like I was in Disneyland.

We were shown many products but I think my favorite one is called Jif Whips. I can’t even begin to describe  how good it is! You could use it as a fruit dip, as a peanut butter spread, or as an ingredient in a recipe. I was playing around and decided to give it a shot in no bake cookies.  I used the peanut butter and chocolate mint Jif Whip. – This is the perfect cookie for Christmas! You can find Jif  Whips at most local grocery stores.

I live about 20 minutes from there. When my husband was a boy, he would pick elderberries from around home and sell them to Smuckers. We grew up in SE Ohio in very small towns. Orrville was about an hour away from there. His sister is just 5 minutes or so from there.
