Greek Yogurt Fruit Salad

I love the tangy taste of Greek yogurt, mixed with the sweet taste of fruit. This Greek Yogurt Fruit Salad is so simple to make and works for any season. I make this for barbecues and holiday get togethers in the winter. Your family is going to love this Greek Yogurt Fruit Salad.

The other day it was my job to bring a fruit salad to our family dinner.

I knew that we were going to be having lots of desserts (and someone was already bringing Jello, because it’s us and we love Jello), so I wanted to bring something a little healthier.

I threw this together and it was a hit.

I used Tillamook Vanilla Greek Yogurt (this isn’t sponsored – it’s just really what I use and love), but if they don’t have that in your area, feel free to use your favorite kind of Greek yogurt or other yogurt.

I don’t love the taste of many Greek yogurts, but Tillamook’s is really creamy and loaded with protein (and I can pronounce all the ingredients on the package, so that’s super important to me).

So that’s why I prefer the Tillamook brand. But any brand would work great with this recipe.

Feel free to add your favorite kinds of fruit to mix this dish up. It will be fresh and delicious with any one you choose.

how to make greek yogurt fruit salad

We are all about simple recipes, so this recipe is perfect. It is so simple and versatile.

Step 1: In a large bowl, mix all fruit together. I used grapes, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, banana, pineapple, and mandarin oranges.

You could really use any fruit you have. They would all taste delicious with this vanilla Greek yogurt.

Step 2: Gently fold yogurt into fruit.

Step 3: Place in fridge until ready to serve. Dish up and enjoy.

You can also make this a couple hours before and keep in the fridge, but I found that it was pretty watery the next day from all the fruit juices. We recommend eating this the same day you make it.

Make it your own by adding your favorite fruit

Like we said before, you could use any fruit you’d like for this salad.

You could even switch up the flavor of yogurt. You could do an all strawberry dish by using sliced strawberries and Greek strawberry yogurt.

You could also use plain yogurt instead of Greek. I like the tangy taste of Greek yogurt with fruit, so I recommend using a Greek yogurt.

You could easily make this with any fruit that is in season. This winter I want to make this salad, using fruit from our Winter Fruit Salad.
