Recipe Ingredient Notes
To make Creamy Peach Pie, you will need the following ingredients:
- Water: this will need to be microwaved until it is boiling.
- Jello mix: Sugar free peach Jell-o mix that you will find in the baking aisle. You can also use regular peach jello mix as well.
- Yogurt: Use your favorite brand of yogurt when buying containers of peach yogurt.
- Cool Whip: In the freezer section get a fat-free tub of Cool Whip and then thaw to room temperature for easy use.
- Crust: Also found in the baking aisle you will keep it simple and use a premade graham cracker crust. I love the Keebler one.
Equipment Needed
For this recipe, you only need a few simple kitchen tools. We recommend using the following equipment:

How to make Creamy Peach Pie
- Heat water. In a microwave-safe measuring cup or small bowl, heat water for 45-90 seconds or until boiling.
- Whisk. Whisk in Jell-o until dissolved.
- Mix filling. In a large bowl, whisk together Jell-o mixture and yogurt.
- Gently Fold. Fold in whipped topping. Carefully spread in crust.
- Store pie. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or until set.
- Serve. Garnish as desired – I topped mine with frozen peaches and whipped cream. Store in refrigerator.
Storing Suggestions and Other Recipe Notes
Fridge: Store any leftover of this peach pie in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4-5 days.
Freezer: You can freeze this pie whole or in slices depending on if you think you will serve it all at once or want to be able to enjoy a slice of the best peach pie whenever the mood strikes. To store in slices, cut it up, freeze for 2-4 hours, and then wrap each piece individually in plastic wrap and then store again in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
Jello temperature: Make sure to allow the peach jello to cool before folding it into the creamy mixture. If not, you may accidentally have a more soupy filling and you might have a hard time getting it to set up properly.
Frequently Asked Questions
While using sweet peaches is super tempting, you will not need them when making up this no-bake dessert recipe. When you add in ripe peaches it will add a lot of liquid to the pie making it not set up properly or making the bottom crust a bit soggy.
However, you can always add fresh sliced peaches to this easy dessert recipe when serving the peach pie. You can also use canned peaches to top the pie, but be sure to drain the peaches of the liquid first.
No! When you combine the pudding mix with the cool whip, you will have an already creamy mixture that you don’t need to add any cream cheese to the mixture for this easy recipe.
Yes! Instead of serving this in a premade pie crust, you can always make up your own homemade graham cracker crust in a separate bowl, pressing it into a 9×9 dish, and then making the rest of the recipe as is to finish making peach pie bars

This pie looks delicious! And it is pretty low on calories too. I bet it tastes wonderful!
Creamy peach??!! I’ve never had anything like that. All the peach pies I’ve had have been made similar to apple. Can’t wait to try this!
The picture shows peach pieces in the slice of pie as well as on the top, yet there was no peaches included in the recipe. Help!!!
Thanks.
GRAM, right above the recipe she was writing about the recipe and she said ” You could even chop up fresh peaches and put them in the pie for extra-peachy flavor”.
The regular Jell-O will work just fine in this recipe. The difference will be in the calorie count when you are through.
Should the jell-o be cooled a bit before adding the yogurt and whipped topping?
Thanks for the info. I would never eat anything made with sugar free Jell-O but would try this will regular Jell-0
Just made this. Nothing left to do now but wait for it to firm up and then it’s gobble time! I did sneak a small taste of the filler though and it is amazingly delicious!
We just mixed it all together without cooling the jello. It will take about 4 hours to set up in the fridge.
You can use regular jello, I used to make this with strawberry all the time. With cut up strawberries in it. Really good.
I have never made this recipe using any other kind of Jell-o except for sugar free. I am not sure if it would work with regular Jell-o because the size of the packages are so different.
Is there a healthy sub for cool whip? It is just chemicals. Whipped cream will not hold up.
Hi thanks for all ur tips and making it easy to keep my family happy by cooking for them I really appreciate it thanks a lot love Denver.ps keep on with the good work mwah!!
Hi, Cool Whip is not available where I live. Is there any substitute for it?
Thanks
This is a Weight Watchers dessert. Use a low fat Graham cracker crust. You can go crazy picking jello and yogurts. My favorite is orange jello and orange yogurt.
I’ve made this pie a lot as it really easy to do and I always use regular jello. Walmart carries strawberry cheesecake yogurt and that makes a fantastic pie too. We love exploring all the yogurt and jello flavors!
Definitely trying this week..!!! Looks soooooo amazing. Tyvm for sharing. It’s looking like a southern fried chicken ..mashed potatoes and gravy..green beans and this sweet treat type a dinner affair!! 🙂
Hi Nadia, We found a cool whip susbstitute off of google for you….
2 Cups cold Whipping Cream
2 Tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
Directions:
Place metal mixing bowl in freezer for 10 minutes.
Take bowl out of freezer and pour in whipping cream and powdered sugar.
Whip for 2-3 minutes on medium high until light and fluffy.
Add in vanilla and whip until combined.
Store covered in fridge. Will keep fluffy for about 3 days.
Makes about 4 cups of whipped topping.
Hope this helps!
Just finished making this. Can I freeze this?
Do you know if you can freeze this?
Hi Mary, We have never frozen this because we eat it so fast! 🙂 But looking over the ingredients it should freeze just fine. Just be sure you cover it well before freezing!
Cyd (mom of the Six Sisters)
This should freeze just fine!
This looks delicious. I’m disappointed that the ingredients are all highly refined products loaded with additives, which I’m working on getting out of my diet. Would it work out to make it using plain gelatin (not jello), whipping cream and fresh real peaches, with maybe a little honey to sweeten it? (I’d skip the graham cracker crust, I’ve never been big on crusts of any sort!)
You can use the fruit on the bottom yogurt and also dice up some fresh or canned peaches to put in. I always slice some to decorate the top with too.
You can use regular jello, yogurt, and whipped topping. and it comes out great. IMO it is much more creamier 🙂
I found regular jello in different package sizes, including a 3 oz. peach flavor. I made the dessert today and it came out great. I added drained canned diced peaches to the mix as well. It appears to freeze well.
For those of you who have a diabetic in the family or just want fewer calories, replace the sugar with Splenda. It tastes the same, has less calories, and dissolves the same as powdered sugar. I have used this recipe for many years with Splenda.
Thanks Carol! 🙂 This will be helpful to so many viewers!
Hi there look delisious but does not say the amounts of the ingredients and the links basically take me back to the original picture. Help?
Not sure what is going wrong. When we went to the recipe it all worked fine and the ingredients are all there.
I would like more low fat, low calorie recipes. I loved your Creamy Peach Pie recipe it was just wonderful .
I made something similar today using cherry regular jello and chopped up 2 cups of fresh watermelon SOOO good!
IS THERE A MIS-PRINT ON THE SIZE BOX OF JELLO? IS IT A SMALL OR LG. BOX OF SUGAR FREE JELLO? THANKS! LUANA
It says in the ingredients 1 box 0.3 ounce box. Hope this helps.
regular whip cream be used. I have a corn allergies and cool whip has high fructose corn syrup in it.
We have only used Cool Whip with this recipe, but whipping cream should work too.
For a different flavor changeup, I just made this with sugar-free cherry-flavored Jell-O and nonfat cherry-limeade yogurt, as well as the Cool Whip, of course. It is so perrrrrrrrrty and pink! 😀
I followed the directions to a T and mine did not set. Can you think of what might have went wrong. I used proper sizes as listed.
Hi Kris, not sure what could have gone wrong. I read over all the comments and there has been no other mention of the dessert not setting up. Many of the comments said they used regular jello too and it worked just fine. We have never had a problem with the creamy peach pie setting up.
Do I mix the cool whip also or spread it in the crust?
You fold the whipped topping into the jello and yogurt mixture. Then spread all of it into the crust.
A substitute for Cool whip is available called Dream Whip. It’s a dry mix that’s mixed with milk. It’s made by Heinz. I think it tastes like Cool Whip. Found near dry puddings., if available.
