Brown Sugar Turkey Meatballs

These Brown Sugar Turkey Meatballs are unreal. They taste AMAZING. And you can’t even tell they are turkey. You could also use ground beef, but turkey is a healthy and delicious alternative. Enjoy!

  • 2-2 1/2 lbs ground turkey
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • 3/4 cup Italian Bread Crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • dash of oregano to taste
  • Glaze:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon milk


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and grease so the meatballs don't stick.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the ground turkey, eggs, Italian bread crumbs, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, garlic salt, minced garlic, pepper, salt, and oregano (I mixed it in with my hands).
  4. Roll into 1 inch balls and place on covered and greased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes, then flip and move the meatballs around and continue baking for another 10 minutes.
  6. In a large saucepan, mix brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, white vinegar, and milk on medium high heat until it is fully mixed in and begins to thicken.
  7. Place the cooked turkey meatballs in the pan and mix so all of them are completely coated.
  8. Once all the meatballs are covered in the sauce, take off the heat and serve warm with rice or your favorite vegetable.
