
Pasta salads are a guilty pleasure for me.
A pasta salad is so simple to whip up for any family get together or for a work party.
And you will be sure to get compliments with this cheesy bacon pasta salad anywhere you bring it.
This is also the type of salad I never have to force my kids to eat, so sometimes I will even sneak in some extra veggies too!
You could always add in some raw broccoli or carrots to add an extra crunch.

Creamy Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad Ingredients:
- Fusilli noodles (like THESE ones)
- Mayo
- Ranch dressing
- Green onions
- Bacon (cooked)
- Garlic salt
- Onion powder
- Pepper
- Cheddar cheese
The bacon for this easy pasta salad recipe will need to be already cooked!
So, I thought I’d share a little tip that helps me make the best bacon without getting all of the grease flying at me while it’s cooking and I can do other things at the same time too.
BAKE IT IN THE OVEN! That’s right! You don’t have to cook the bacon on the stovetop if you don’t want to. Take a look at this recipe for the best oven baked bacon recipe.

If you are ready to eat a fantastic pasta salad filled with bacon and cheese, let’s get started!
To begin this delicious pasta salad, start by making the fusilli noodles according to the directions on the package. If you don’t have fusilli noodles, you could also use bow tie, tri color rotini, or any other noodles you have on hand.
Then, in a large mixing bowl, combine together the mayo, ranch dressing, green onions, cooked and crumbled bacon, garlic salt, onion powder, and the pepper. Mix everything until they are completely incorporated.
Then, once the noodles are done boiling, drain the noodles and run them under cold water to cool them down.
Once the noodles are cool, add the fusilli noodles and shredded cheddar cheese to the ranch and mayo mixture.
Now, all you have to do is mix everything together and throw it in the fridge for about 2 hours to let the flavors marinate together and then serve when you’re ready!

CHEESY BACON RANCH PASTA SALAD RECIPE
Ingredients
- 4 cups fusilli noodles
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ⅓ cup ranch dressing
- 4 green onions (chopped)
- 6 strips bacon (cooked and crumbled)
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 Tablespoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ranch dressing, green onions, bacon, garlic salt, onion powder, and pepper until well combined.
- Add your cooled noodles and cheddar cheese.
- Mix until well combined. Place in fridge for about 2 hours before serving.
