Pretzel S’mores Bites Recipe

Growing up our version of camping was only one or two nights in the woods. We loved setting up a tent in the backyard, or staying in a cabin with the family, we like to call it “glamping” or glamorous camping! haha.

If there isn’t running water or flushable toilets, you can pretty much count us out (Sorry dad!).

We might not be very good at camping, but we DO love campfire food. Hobo dinners, Smores, hot dogs, and bananas over the fire, are enough to get us outside and almost-camping.

The best thing about these Pretzel Smore Bites is the fact that you can get the same delicious campfire treat, inside your house in matter of minutes.

They are so yummy, and you don’t have to smell like a campfire to enjoy them. Also the sweet and salty combination is perfect and delicious.

A dessert to feed a crowd:

The thing I love about this recipe, is it can feed quite a few people. You could easily double or triple this recipe with ease, and feed it to a crowd. We make these for neighborhood parties all the time.

We also like make these in the summer and just take them to neighbors as a summer treat. They are so fun to make as well. This is a great recipe for the kids to help out with.

Make it gluten free:

This recipe is incredibly easy to make GLUTEN FREE. All you need is to replace the pretzels with gluten free pretzels.

And I will say, gluten free pretzels are pretty delicious, and incredibly easy to find. If you know of a gluten free friend, they need this recipe in their life.

What could I use instead of pretzels?

I personally love the sweet and salty combination, but you could switch it up and go for something sweet. Here are a few recommendations:

• Vanilla Wafers
• Graham Crackers

A delicious campfire treat without the campfire!

Ingredients

• ▢ 24 mini pretzels
• ▢ 2 (1.55 ounce) Hershey Chocolate Bars
• ▢ 2 ½ cups miniature marshmallows

Equipment

• Sheet Pan (Quarter)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven on Broil at 500 degrees.
2. Line a cookie sheet with foil.
3. Place pretzels, about 15 at a time on cookie sheet.
4. In each hole in the pretzel, place a mini marshmallow (3 on each pretzel)
5. Remove from oven and immediately top with one Hershey's square. Serve immediately and enjoy!
