One of my favorite recipes of all time are our mom’s Gorilla Poops (a.k.a. No-Bake cookies).Even though the name sounds funny (my kids get the giggles every time I call them that), they are absolutely delicious.(I know that everyone has their favorite recipe for no bake cookies, but I really think that hers are the best!).
No bake cookie recipes have always been a hit in our house. They’re done quickly, they cool to room temperature fast, and all you need are a few simple ingredients and supplies like parchment paper, quick oats or old fashioned oats, a cookie scoop, a large saucepan or medium-sized saucepan, and a few other basic ingredients. It’s such an easy dessert! The classic version is made with classic peanut butter, but we mixed it up with this one by adding in some easy Nutella or hazelnut spread for that hazelnut flavor.
No bake Nutella cookies have quickly become a favorite no bake recipe in our house, and if you’re reading this, you’re about to find out why! The creamy nutella mixed with the texture of the quick-cooking oats or old-fashioned oats is unmatched. Plus you can eat the leftover Nutella! Do these cookies freeze well?
These cookies do freeze pretty well. I usually only freeze them if I know they won’t be eaten for a few days.
I usually keep mine in an airtight container in my fridge or on my counter for up to four days.
These are definitely best when made fresh.

How many Nutella No Bake Cookies does one batch make?
For this recipe, I can usually get at least 24 cookies out of it. On a good day without any kids at home, I can get about 32 cookies.
Some taste testers like to grab a spoon and sneak a bite when I’m not looking.
You can also make them bigger or smaller as needed. It’s also a super simple recipe to double, and you can still make it all in one pot.
