No-Bake Buckeye Bars Recipe

 You may have noticed our love for all things chocolate and peanut butter by now.  Some of our favorites desserts are our Chubby Hubby Buckeye Truffles and our Peanut Butter Brownie Buckeye Cupcakes.  These yummy bars have the taste of our favorite buckeye treats but only take a few minutes to make!

No-Bake Buckeye Bars Recipe

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 cups pretzel sticks, crushed
  • Topping
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed pretzels to sprinkle on top


  1. Line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar and crushed pretzel sticks. Press evenly into the prepared pan.
  3. In the microwave, melt the chocolate chips with the peanut butter, stirring every 30 seconds until melted and smooth. Spread over the peanut butter layer. Sprinkle on crushed pretzels.
  4. Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares.

  1. Awesome post! This recipe is brilliant. I mean it. I'm busy "as all get out" this holiday season (although - in the world that I live in as an off-premise caterer/event planner, it's not a big surprise and more like... What else is new?), I'm sure you guys are busy too, and I know most everyone else is too -- so, this recipe... being "no bake" and all, is perfect!
