If you’re not typically a meatloaf fan, give this one a try. It’s so tasty and the sauce just really tops it off.
These mini meatloaves are a fun way to serve this classic meal. The kids will love them being more bitesized!
How to Make Instant Pot Mini Meatloaf:
Start by mixing ground beef, eggs, onion, ketchup, salt, pepper, half of the tomato soup, and 1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce in a large mixing bowl. Once it’s mixed well, fill the wells of your silicone mold.
Cover the meatloaves with foil or a silicone food cover. Add 1 cup of water to the bottom of your Instant Pot. Then place a trivet in the bottom of your Instant Pot. If layering more than one set of molds, turn the second set so that the wells are not resting over each other.
Lock the lid in place and turn the knob to sealing.
Press the Manual or Pressure Cook button and set for 35 minutes. When done, release the pressure using the quick release method.
Turn the oven onto broil.
Remove the meatloaves and arrange them on a plate. In a sauce pan – mix together the other half of the tomato soup, 1 Tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Pour the sauce over the meatloaves.

COULD I MAKE THIS RECIPE USING GROUND TURKEY INSTEAD OF GROUND BEEF?
I love a good meatloaf. I am not a huge red meat fan, but this meatloaf is seriously so amazing.
However, you can make this meatloaf with ground turkey instead of ground beef if you would like. The ingredients trade straight across, so all the measurements of every ingredient would be the same.
However, the ground beef does have a sweeter taste to it, when paired with the glaze. We highly recommend using the ground beef, but you can use the turkey (it just won’t taste as delicious, but I am sure it will still taste amazing).

Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1 onion, chopped
- ¼ cup ketchup
- salt and pepper, to taste

- Serve with your favorite side dishes. I like to serve it with mashed potatoes and corn.

Would this work with your sweet and tangy meat loaf recipe?
I was wondering the same thing. I do have a recipe for meatloaf that has oatmeal instead of bread crumbs. Since bread crumbs aren’t listed I’m assuming the oatmeal should be mixed in the meat mixture.
Nowhere in the recipe does it say add 1 1/2 cups of water…… a requirement to start the entire process…
For beginners, like me,…. you might want to modify your instructions.

It should work fine.
You only have to cook a full meatloaf for 25 minutes… why would these tiny bites take 35?!?! They only take 25 minutes in the oven.
Our full meatloaf cooks for an hour, and some of ours cook for 1 1/2 hours in the oven. It depends on your recipe and how thick the meatloaf is.

Thank you but this isn’t a clear answer for me. How long should the mini meat loafs cook by pressure cooker? These should be fairly uniform in size so a specific time should be clear. i plan to use this Friday night so hope to hear from you and looking forward to trying them.
I followed the recipe and cooked them on high pressure for 35 minutes. My thermometer read 200 degrees when I opened them up. Even though they were “overcooked” by temperature, they were moist and delicious.
The only thing I did differently from the recipe was I added some italian herbs and granulated garlic.

Whoops! I just threw all the ingredients in (didn’t have oatmeal so subbed out roasted garlic bread crumbs and didn’t have brown sugar so I used honey bbq sauce)…mixed well (oh yeah I had to use mayo instead of eggs too)….I have no idea how this is going to turn out, but I will remember in future to read the entire recipe before starting! This franken-loaf with turkey will be interesting indeed, but I wanted to comment to say thank you for all your hard work! I love your videos on YouTube and the recipes here, my mom got me an 8qt Insta-pot for my birthday, and it literally sat in the box for about three weeks before I watched your video on tips for beginners, and got the courage to give it a try. Very confusing since no mention of liquid in IP. Must have liquid in IP to bring it up to pressure. IP meal can be ruined by following this recipe.
