FAQs:
You can make this cheesy ranch chicken in the slow cooker easily! Just turn the slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours and you will have an easy dinner ready for when you get home.
Yes! This recipe will work great with boneless chicken thighs, I just normally have boneless chicken breasts on hand! Just follow the ranch chicken recipe as is, but adjust the timing for the chicken as needed since the thickness of the chicken can change the cook time slightly.
While you will use ranch dressing when making these juicy chicken breasts, the ranch packets go into the cheese mixture and will work best. The liquid dressing itself might be a little harder to use with the cheese on top of the cooked chicken.

Storage & Reheating Instructions:
Fridge: For any leftover chicken, place them in an airtight container storing leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Reheat: Place the chicken into an air fryer at 350 degrees F for 3-5 minutes or until the chicken is warmed to your liking.

I liked the way you made the chicken cheesier. That sounds so tasty. I made something like that awhile back in March. I made BBQ chicken, with a side of celery and buttery corn with cayenne pepper. It looks delicious. Thank you for your post.

Is this made with fresh Parmesan cheese or the booted grated parmesan cheese?
***bottled
We used the bagged parmesan cheese hanging in the cheese section of the store.
This recipe is delicious! Thank you, it was a hit with my whole family and that is rare… Thank you!!!
How do you think this recipe would work with other parts of the chicken besides chicken breast (wings, legs, thighs) I don’t always have chicken breast but I at least have one of the other chicken parts. Would you change anything?
It should work fine. We know that it takes around 30 minutes with chicken breasts. So watch closely so you don’t overcook it.
What about using fresh chicken instead of frozen?
You can definitely use fresh chicken instead of frozen.
Did you cook it covered??
We cooked this uncovered. You can loosely cover with foil if it gets too brown toward the end of the baking time.
My family loves this dish! Thank yiu
Do y’all have the nutritional facts for this recipe? I don’t see it on here, sorry if I missed it!
Do you use bone in chicken or boneless?
We use boneless skinless chicken breasts.
I just made it and it is delicious!! 🙂
This was so good! I wish I would have made more of it! All I had was parmesan (shredded bagged kind) and mozzarella and it was fantastic.
We made it and liked it but found it was even better when we cut the amount or ranch dressing mix to 1/2 a packet. Then it was amazing on fresh breast.
I have 6 larger chicken breasts. Would it be better to cut each piece in half?
Is 30 min enough for 3 boneless chicken breasts totaling 1.41 pounds? Also should I cover pan?
We have found 30 minutes to be perfect, however if you have thicker pieces of chicken, try using a meat thermometer to make sure the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C) We cooked this uncovered. You can loosely cover with foil if it gets too brown toward the end of the baking time.
This recipe was so easy and delicious!! We will be making this again and again!! Thanks again for saving us from meal time rut, Sis Sisters!!
