Buffalo Cauliflower Bites Recipe
We love these Buffalo Cauliflower Bites for an easy and delicious appetizer!
Serving
Ingredients
- 1 head cauliflower
- ⅔ cup flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup water
Buffalo Sauce
- ⅓ cup hot sauce, We used Frank's
- ¼ cup honey
- ½ cup brown sugar

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Cut cauliflower into large pieces.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and water.
- Coat cauliflower in flour mixture.
- Place on greased pan and bake for 15 minutes, or until cauliflower begins to golden.
- For the sauce, in a medium sized bowl mix together hot sauce, honey, and brown sugar.
- Brush buffalo sauce over cooked cauliflower coating all sides.
- Place cauliflower back in the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes.
- Enjoy! We love ours dipped in ranch!

Are these mild enough for children to enjoy also?
Franks hot sauce has some heat. You could use a mild hot sauce that you think your kids might like.
Arr you certain the amount of flour and water are correct because I just tried making these and followed your recipe to the letter and they did not come out like that at all the batter just ran right off the cauliflower while they were cooking the bottom of my pan was battered but the cauliflower was not ?

Yes, the flour and water are correct. You could definitely try adding more flour or cornstarch to thicken up the sauce if you need to. We are so sorry for the trouble!
I know, I’m having the same problem – perhaps next time I will try adding cornstarch or more flour
