I love apples. But sometimes I get a little sick of just cutting them up and eating them raw. My friend made these for me the other day and I LOVED THEM.

They were so full of flavor and had the most amazing taste and texture to them. I don’t know why I didn’t ever think of it before.

They are so easy to make and come together in a matter of minutes. If you are looking for a healthy snack, or a delicious dessert, this is a recipe you have to try. It is the BEST healthy dessert and snack I have had in a while.

Also, it’s extremely inexpensive to make, so it’s a win, win.

If you Love the taste of apple pie, you will love this recipe.
And don’t forget to Eat it while it is HOT. Happy Cooking.

make it a dessert

If you are looking to make this a dessert, we highly recommend a scoop of vanilla ice cream or vanilla Greek yogurt on top.

It is simple, delicious, and full of amazing flavor.

You could also do whipped cream if you prefer something a little lighter. The creamy texture combined with the smooth apple texture, is out of this world, delicious.

  • 2 apples (any kind!)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
  • 3 Tablespoons raisins

  1. First mix the Brown Sugar, Cinnamon and Raisins -set aside this mixture.
  2. Cut the core out of the apple so there is hole down the center.
  3. Put the coreless apples in microwaveable bowls.
  4. Next fill the middle of the apples half full of the mixture. Add 1 tsp of water to the middle of the apple to moisten your mixture.
  5. Fill the rest of the apple up with the mixture. Once the apple is full, pour 1 tsp of water over the apple to make the top half of the mixture also moist.
  6. Cover the apple with plastic wrap and cook on high for 5 minutes in the microwave. Or you can cook them in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Just make sure you cover them with Foil instead of saran wrap if you do it in the oven.
