Triple Peanut Butter Cookies

These Triple Peanut Butter Cookies are one of the best cookies you will ever eat. If you are a peanut butter lover, you are going to love these.

I love anything with peanut butter in it. Peanut butter just makes everything better. Am I right? At least that is the case for these cookies.

They are soft, chewy and have the perfect amount of peanut butter flavor. If you like peanut butter, you are going to LOVE these cookies.

My husband, who is usually not much of a dessert eater, ate about 7 of these in one sitting. It was a little impressive. They are so simple, and taste so delicious.

If you are a peanut butter lover, or know of one, you need these bad boys in your life.

add a little crunch:

I love this recipe because it is pretty versatile. You can add a little crunch to it, by adding just a few extra ingredients. Here are a few of our favorites to add to this recipe for a little texture.

  • Crushed pretzels
  • Lightly salted peanuts
  • Sea Salt

I love the sweet and salty combination. With any of the above ingredients, I would try to crush them up and make them a bit smaller. You could smash them up with a hammer, or a rolling pin to make them just a little smaller.

If you are looking to add a little chocolate, you could also add some M & M’s, chocolate chips, or even some Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups would taste delicious in these cookies.

could i make this recipe with crunchy peanut butter?

For this recipe, we used creamy peanut butter. However, you could switch it up and use crunchy peanut butter if you prefer it or have it on hand.

We recommend using the creamy peanut butter, then adding just a little bit of lightly salted peanuts to the batter.

If you use crunchy peanut butter, there will be a lot more peanuts than you’d expect. We have tried it, but we do enjoy the creamy peanut butter in these cookies a little more.

I like the idea of the Reeces pieces. My grandmother used to add chopped salted peanuts in the cookies with peanut butter chips (think sweet and salty. Yes, she was ahead of her time) and of course, peanut butter. That's actually what I thought you were thinking when you said triple peanut butter cookies.
