What is peanut powder?
PB2, found at Wal-Marts with the other peanut butters.
We used Jif peanut powder. It’s found on the peanut butter aisle.
Can regular peanut butter be substituted for the powder?
Hi Karissa, I asked Kendra about substituting peanut butter for the powder. She said you can, but you will need to add a little more powdered sugar. Start with an extra 1/4 cup and then see if you will need more than that. Let us know how it all turns out.
obviously powder
I skipped the honey and added a little more powdered sugar and powdered peanut butter. I like it! Also, you don’t pour the mix in, it plops in and you smoosh it down. I used chocolate shavings on the bottom and on the top I put a layer of Cool Whip and then put chocolate shavings and crushed peanuts on top. 9.5/10 would make again!
I plugged the ingredients into my WW calculator, and I got 16 points per slice, if you get 8 servings out of a pie. That’s using a homemade low-fat graham cracker crust recipe that I found on another site. Although it might be a little “skinnier” than other peanut butter pies, 16 points is not skinny! It was delicious, though!
