My wife asked me to check out your blog for some tasty recipes. She loves blondies so I can take a hint. And I love butterscotch. I can tell she wants me to make these for her for Valentine’s Day. And I’m going to do something terrible, I’m going to ask my mom to make these for her and give the to wife. If she’s asks straight up, I’ll tell her the truth. But if she doesn’t, I’ll let her draw her own conclusions.
I love blondies. I am definitely checking these out this weekend. I am wheat free, so I am going to try them out with a gluten free flour blend. Yum!
I used a 1:1 gluten free baking flour blend and made no other substitutions. It is in the oven right now. Smells divine!

Delish! I halved the recipe and baked it in an 8×8 casserole dish and it was perfect. I made sure to underbake it just a tad so that it was chewy on the inside. Because I used an 8×8, my bars were pretty thick, I’d probably try a 9×9 next time.
