Southwest Seven Layer Sliders

These Southwest Seven Layer Sliders make a great appetizer, snack, lunch, or dinner recipe. They are so easy to make and are full of amazing flavor. You are going to love how delicious these are, and how quick they come together.

One of my favorite foods in the entire world are the Chili’s Big Mouth Bites sliders. Something about eating lots of little hamburgers makes me not feel as guilty as devouring one huge burger.
It’s a mind game, I guess.
Anyway, as I was thinking of what to have for dinner the other night, those sliders came to mind.
I started looking for fun slider recipes that I could make for my family and thought it would be fun to make a hamburger using all the layers that are used in Seven Layer Dip, which is another one of my favorite foods (who am I kidding? I just love good food in general).
These little hamburgers were so fun to make and the whole family loved them. If you don’t want to make them “slider style”, you could easily make full-size burgers.
Slider style makes a great appetizer, lunch, dinner, snack, or game day treat.

how to make Southwest 7 Layer Sliders:

Step 1: Divide beef into about 12 small patties. Grill until done. Melt desired cheese on top of  patties.
Step 2: Cut buns in half. Place a small amount of refried beans on the bottom of each bun. Top with some shredded lettuce.
Step 3: Place beef patty with melted cheese on top of lettuce.
Step 4: Add your tomato and guacamole. You could also add any of your other favorite toppings. My husband likes to put grilled onions and bacon on his.
Step 5: Top with some sour cream and place other bun on top. If you are looking for a healthier alternative, you could also use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. They have a similar texture and flavor.
