Hi Pauline,
There is a product called A-1 Steak Sauce. Do not know if you have that in UK. You could ask the butcher or go on line and search for a recipe for steak sauce.
Hopefully this helps.

I’m confused about the 1/2 cup of pineapple juice. Do I drain the pineapple and just add the 1/2 cup of pineapple juice and disregard the rest or am I saving the 1/2 cup of pineapple juice for something else? Thanks
Drain the pineapple. Save 1/2 cup to add to the recipe along with the pineapple. You won’t need the rest of the juice. Hope this helps! -The Six Sisters
hi Pauline

Hi Pauline,
I will test this recipe saturday and I’d like to know what’s make this version “skinny” compare to the original version ?
Thanks 😉
I made this tonight and it was fabulous. The only thing I change was adding a little thickener (cornstarch and water mix) to the sauce at the end of cooking. It was soooooo great. Thanks so much! http://www.coastalKel.com
My guess is that it doesn’t have any sugar in it and that’s what makes it skinnier. I wondered how it might taste without the sugar. I guess we’ll see at dinner tonight!
