what could i use instead of the mint oreo’s?
I am a huge mint Oreo fan. Really just a mint and chocolate fan. However, I understand they aren’t for everyone. My husband is personally not crazy about the combination, because he thinks mint should only be found in gum or breath mints. Which I totally get.
So if you are looking to switch out the mint Oreo’s, and use a chocolate or vanilla frosting, instead of mint, here is what we recommend trying:
- Regular Oreos (or really any of the other Oreo flavors. These would be delish with the cake batter Oreo’s).
- Candy (It would be delicious with, Reese’s, Snickers, Twix, Milkyway, M & M’s, Butterfingers, Reese’s Pieces, Kit Kats, etc.)
- Toffee Bits
- Pecans or another favorite nut.
