I needed a quick breakfast the other morning and time was quickly running out . . . I knew that my kids would probably end up eating their meal in the car because we had to leave, so I wanted it to be something that wouldn’t be too messy and something that they could hold in their hands.
Some of their favorite meals are wrapped in crescent rolls, so I thought that it might be yummy to roll up their breakfast in a crescent too.
It ended up being a huge hit with the kids (and my husband)! They were kind of like a mini breakfast burrito, but perfect for little hands to hold.
The possibilities of filling ingredients are endless; feel free to add whatever your family likes- bacon, sausage, red pepper, green chiles, tomatoes . . . anything goes!

Oh that looks yum! After all the candy sitting in my belly tonight I think we’ll try that in the morning for breakfast.
I think that I love anything rolled into a cresent roll. Yummy!

Cannot wait to try these!!! Thanks for sharing your recipe!
This looks so yummy! I can’t wait to try it 🙂
I made these with bacon instead of ham. Yum!
Do these re-heat well? Sounds like it would be good to make on Sunday and grab throughout the week.
I found that the crescent rolls kind of got squishy the next day and weren’t as good . . . I think that they taste best when you eat them the same day you make them.
I make these with homemade rolls instead of the crescent roll dough and freeze after baking. They reheat wonderfully that way.
Made these this morning with turkey bacon-yummy! Told my husband,”why didn’t we think of THIS sooner?” Thanks so much.
Can’t wait to make these for my man before work. He sleeps as long as possible until he has to leave for work and usually doesn’t have much time for breakfast, so these would be awesome since he could eat them during his 25 minute drive! (less messy than a wrap or breakfast burrito) ALSO great for Sunday football games!
Just made these for my teenage son and his friends before they headed down to the Bears game. Hugh success! A little time-consuming to roll the crescents, plan accordingly. Served with hash browns and fruit salad.
I made these just with frozen breakfast sausage links and they were wonderful. Thank you for posting this idea. We love them.
Can these be assembled the night before then baked in the morning?
I made these this morning and my kids gobbled them up! So yummy! Thank you!
I just pulled these out of the oven and they smell wonderful! Thanks for the recipe!
