Two of my favorite things are slow cookers and barbecue sauce. When I found this recipe I knew I had to try it! It smelled so good the whole day cooking and tasted even better! This is super easy to make and now is my new favorite!

Ingredients

  • 6 frozen skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 (12 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce (I used Famous Dave's Zesty BBQ sauce)
  • 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl mix together the barbecue sauce, Italian dressing, brown sugar, and worcestershire sauce. Pour over the chicken.
  3. Cover and cook 3-4 hours on high or 6-7 hours on low.
  4. Shred chicken and place back in slow cooker until ready to serve. Serve on rolls.

  1. I am confused how you got only 4 WW points for this... I put it in WW recipe builder using exactly the ingredients you gave and for 8 servings it is 8 points per serving. That's double the points and would make a big difference for someone trying to strictly stay within their points.

    Seriously? This isn't inspired by or adapted from. This is nearly an exact copy of my almost 5 star recipe on Allrecipes. It has over 6,000 ratings. Give credit where credit is due. I came up with this 15 years ago while heavily pregnant and needing to feed my family with what I had on hand. Back when you had to have recipes vetted to get them published.
