Every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas, my Grandma Adamson had a Cream Cheese Shrimp Cocktail Dip. That was one of the things I looked forward to the most. One year when I was 10 years old, I accidentally dropped it on her light green carpet and stained it. I never dared tell her who it was. Sorry Grandma! Anyway… I added a little twist on it and it tastes amazing! I brought it to a family get together and it was gone if a very short amount of time.

Hi, Do you use the small salad shrimp?
We found small frozen shrimp. Salad shrimp works great.
I want to do this with shrimp and crab
This is similar to my families’ favorite dip. We put an 8 oz. block of cream cheese on a plate, top it with a zippy cocktail sauce, top that with salad shrimp, and sprinkle with chives or parsley (no peppers or cheese, please!). Serve with Waverly Wafers (they’re the BEST!) and it always disappears!
Oh this looks wonderful – thank you for sharing! Happy holidays.
I have been making this dish for years! It’s my signature party dish. It is expected at most family gatherings!
I don’t see the mozzarella cheese in the photo. Is that an optional ingredient?
It’s in there. It’s just under the veggies.
I made this for my annual Christmas dinner and it was a huge hit! Love all of your recipes!!!
I serve this on a Christmas plate or a raised cake stand this is ideal for the buffet table, so pretty.
