We love Green peppers in our family and they aren’t very expensive right now in the grocery store! This is one of my favorite recipes when I’m craving the pepper! 🙂

Healthy Stuffed Green Peppers Recipe
Weight Watchers Stuffed Green Peppers Recipe - a great way to get your vegetables and protein!
Serving people
Ingredients
- 5 cups water
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 6 green bell peppers
- 1 pound ground turkey
- ½ onion, diced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 cup quick cooking brown rice
- 1 (15oz) can tomato sauce, divided
- 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- In a large pot, boil 5 cups of water with 1/2 tsp salt added.
- Cut off the top of each pepper, clean out seeds and membranes and then wash them really well.
- Cook peppers in the boiling water for 5 minutes then drain.
- In a large skillet, cook and stir ground turkey and onion until onion is tender. Drain off any fat.
- Stir in salt, garlic salt, rice and 1 cup (8 ounces) of tomato sauce. Heat through.
- Stuff each pepper with meat mixture.
- Stand the peppers upright in an ungreased baking dish.
- Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven, uncover, and top with shredded Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for an additional 15 minutes.

Iwas wondering the same tthing so I just went through the points and came up with 10pts for 1 pepper. The sauce is 0 the pepper 0 the turkey 3 snd the rice the chesse2
With a small side salad thats a meal.
Trying hard to stick with my family’s favorite meals, while altering for my WW plan, while not losing flavor…you get the picture. Stuffed peppers are a huge hit in our house, and these were actually declared the best recipe yet. Coming from my husband and 4 teenagers, that’s high praise. Thank you Six Sisters’ Stuff!
I used this recipe and used Morningstar Grillers Crumbles instead of meat and it was delish
Can you freeze these?
Yes this looks so good. Could you please tell me how many point there are each pepper.Also are they ww freestyle points.
I just made them and used 99% fat free turkey and mine came out to 3 points per stuffed peppers I and using freestyle or blue as it’s called now
I didn’t cook my rice and it turned out great
