How to make this Baked Chicken Breast Recipe:
- Prep. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F and line a baking tray with aluminum foil.
- Pound the chicken. Cover the chicken with plastic wrap and, using a rolling pin or meat mallet, pound the breasts so they are all the same thickness.
- Season the chicken. In a mixing bowl, drizzle the chicken with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and thyme. Toss to coat the chicken evenly.
- Bake. Arrange the chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 18 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted into the center of the largest breasts reads 165 degrees F.
- Rest. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes outside of the oven before slicing and serving.
