Sometimes when I am perusing the candy aisle at the grocery store, ideas for yummy recipes come to my mind, which was the case with these tasty cookies! These Almond Joy Pieces are good by themselves but taste even better in these cookies! I loved how chewy and soft these cookies were. I shared them with my family and they were gone in no time!

Oh I have to try these! Mmmmm. I have already pre-ordered the book and think of it every day. It cant come.spon enough! I will be a happy girl the day it comes! 🙂
What do you mean this “Serves 60”? It only makes 60 cookies! In my book, that means more like “Serves 5”! Ha! Ha!
These look delicious. I’ll have to try them soon.
Hi Diane, you are a woman after our own hearts!! Really….who can walk away after one cookie! 😉 They are delicious. Elyse brought them to a family party last week after we blessed her baby at church. They didn’t last long!
These cookies look so yummy! I love anything “Almond Joy”.
Does anyone know how to make this recipe a lot smaller? lol. or would I just half all the ingredients.
You can totally cut this recipe in half for a smaller amount.
I wonder if I can make these with gluten free flour?
Hi Diane, we haven’t use gluten free flour in this recipe. But if you substitute it in most cookies it should work in these too.
Can you freeze the dough? either whole or in dropped out form?
This dough should freeze just fine. The cookies freeze well too in an airtight container after baking.
Where can you find the almond joy pieces? I want to make these because almond joys are my favorite, but can’t find the candy anywhere.
Hi Kira, we are having a hard time finding them too. Looks like Amazon and CVS Pharmacy has them.
