Subs are our new best friend at our house. We love meatball subs, but have usually used spaghetti sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan. This is a great variation that sounds just as good and easy!
how many subs does this recipe make??? I’m only cooking for 2-3, so I dont want a ton of leftovers. thanks!
Oh what a lovely comfort food recipe. Thanks for posting. Would you consider adding it to my slow cooker blog hop? Here is the direct url – http://www.savannahssavorybites.com/2012/03/spicy-tomatoes-and-chicken-crockpot.html
Since school’s out for summer vacation, my teenager daughter helps out a lot with meals. Today, she made this recipe, and it was a success! Thumbs up from the whole family. It’s a good change from meatball subs.
what is the reason for the coke? other than that, looks like a good sandwich. is there a non soda replacement? I prefer to Not use cancer causing ingredients.
I make mine using light beer. You may also use non-alcoholic beer or a heavier beer (such as an ale or lager) if you prefer. The recipe link is below:
